#1. How to Transfer Text Messages from Android to Iphone
Step 1. If you want to copy text messages from an Android phone to your already in use iPhone, you will have to erase all content of your ph1. If, however, yours is a new iPhone set, you can begin from step 7.
Step 2. To erase the contents of your iPhone, open the “Settings” application.
Step 3. Scroll down the Settings page to find “General” option. Tap on it.
Step 4. On this page, go to the very bottom. You will find the “Reset” button right at the bottom.
Step 5. On the new page, select “Erase All Content And Settings”.
Step 6. Your iPhone will ask you to confirm your choice. Click on “Erase Now”. This will reset your iPhone to factory settings. All of your existing data files will be deleted.
Step 7. When you switch on this phone, you will have to set all settings as you do in a new iPh1. After choosing the language and location settings, you will be asked about “Apps and Data” setting. On this page, select “Move data from Android”.
Step 8. On the next screen that appears, you will see a few instructions. Click on “Continue”.
Step 9. You will be given a code to enter into your Android phone to connect it to your iPhone.
Step 10. Now, in the android phone you want to shift text messages from, download the “Move to iOS” application. Once it has finished installing, open the application.
Step 11. Open the application on your Android phone and select “Next” to find the code to connect the two devices to enable transfer.
Step 12. You will be asked to punch in a code. Enter the eight-digit code flashing on your iPhone screen in the space on your Android phone.
Step 13. Your devices will begin to connect. Wait for a few seconds.
Step 14. On the screen of your Android phone, you will be asked what data you want to transfer. All the options will be checked by default. Since you want to transfer only text messages, select only the “Message” option.
Step 15. The transfer will begin. The time this takes will depend on the number of text messages ans MMSs you have. Generally, it does not take more than a few minutes.
Step 16. Your screen will flash a “Transfer Complete” message once all the data has been copied from your Android phone to your iPh1. Click on “Done” to proceed.
Step 17. You can now check the messages application to view all the text messages previously on your Android phone.

Step 1. Download SMSBackup+ on the Android phone you want to transfer your text messages from.
Step 2. Open the application and connect your Gmail account to it. This should be the one you use in your phone.
Step 3. Once the Gmail account has been added, back up the data. You can choose to save the data either on cloud storage or email it to yourself. The time taken for the backup will depend on the number of texts you have on your ph1. It typically takes only a few minutes.
Step 4. Now download and install the text message backup application. Open it and connect it to the Gmail account you had used in your previous phone.
Step 5. The only thing left to do now is restoring the data. Select the location where you have saved your backup, device storage or cloud storage.
Step 6. Next, you will be asked to set the backup application as your default SMS application. Accept this request. You can change it later.
Step 7. Wait for a few minutes for your data to restore.
Step 8. Once the process is completed, you can change your default messaging app in the ‘Wireless and Networks’ section. You will find it in the ‘Settings’ application.
Step 9. Click on “More” and select the application you want to be your messaging application. Select the “Default SMS app” button.
Step 10. You will now be able to see all the text messages from your old Android phone on your new Android phone in the messaging application.
