How to Stop Skype from Lowering Volume

Step 1. On the computer system right-click on the Windows icon and click on the system to go to system settings for Sound. In some version of windows, the Windows settings can also be found in “Control panel”.

Step 2. In the next window, click on System.

Step 3. In the left part of the system settings window, the Sound tab can be seen. Click on it to open the sound settings

Step 4. Go to the Sound Control panel on the right part of the screen to alter sound settings.

Step 5. In the Sound window, click on the “communication” panel and check on the circle that says “Do Nothing” so that Windows stops adjusting the volume while it detects any communication on Skype.

Step 6. Now, click on Apply to apply the changes and click on OK to confirm them.

Step 7. Now, Volume will not be lowered while on any communication on Skype.
