How to Move Photos from Google Drive to Google Photos
Step 1. Login to your Google drive.
Step 2. Select the images that you want to move to Google Photos (you can select multiple photos at once holding the Ctrl key while clicking) and click Download as shown in the screenshot.
Step 3. Save the zip file in a folder. For example, Pictures folder. And extract it using utilities such as WinRAR (https.//www.win-rar.com) etc. Now you can delete the photos in Google drive now.
Step 4. Go to https.//www.google.com/drive/download/backup-and-sync and download the Google Backup and Sync program and then install it.
Step 5. After installing, you’ll be greeted with the following screen where you’ll have to put your Google Account credentials.
Step 6. After logging in, you’ll see the following settings.
• Select the folder where you extracted the images in step 3. You can also add any other folder by using CHOOSE FOLDER option.
• Set Photos and video upload size to High Quality.
• Also check the checkbox Upload photos and videos to Google Photos.
Step 7. After clicking next, you will have the option to choose whether Google Drive should be synced or not. If you don’t want the files/photos in that folder to be available in Google drive, then uncheck the option.
Step 8. Click Start. After synchronization has been finished, the photos will be available in Google Photos.
