There are two methods to sort out the “CONNECTING TO PEERS” PROBLEM IN TORRENT Files.

Method 1: By  Reset the Settings in Torrent Clients:

Step 1. First, you have to go to the Path – C:\Users\” user name”\AppData\Roaming.

Step 2. Then open your Utorrent folder. As shown in the image below:

Step 3. There you locate the two files named “Resume.old.dat“ and “Resume.dat” Check the image below:

Step 4. Choose these two files and tap on the delete key.

Step 5. You will see that you can’t locate your unfinished downloading files anymore, but you don’t have to worry as they are erased just from the interface, they are still available in your computer or laptop.

Step 6. To find them you have to go again to the previous Path – “C:\” user name”\AppData\Roaming\Utorrent” and hunt for the torrent file name

Step  7. Simply double tap on it to retrieve it, now your torrent will start running successfully without any error.

Method 2: By Increasing Number of Connections in Torrent Clients

Step 1. Internet connectivity is the main issue that most people face when they are downloading torrent files. If you are trying to fix “connecting to peers” error in Torrent then first ensure that you have a good internet connection.

Step 2. Then go to “options”.

Step 3. Click on preferences and then a connection option.

Step 4. A pop-up window will open with different options.

Step 5. Check the “randomized port each start” box.

Step 6. Now go back to options, preferences and click on “bandwidth”.

Step 7. Check both alternate upload rate when not downloading and apply rate limit to transport overhead.

Step 8. Now click on “apply” and then “OK”.

You have successfully solved the utorrent connecting to peers issue now.
