How to Enable Cookies on Mac Chrome
Step 1. Open the Google Chrome browser on your Mac laptop. On the top left side of the help bar, click on the Chrome button
Step 2. In the drop-down menu which unfolds, click on the ‘Preferences’ button.
This will take you to Chrome’s “Settings” page
Step 3. At the bottom of this page, look for the “Advanced” settings option. You will find it at the bottom centre with a drop-down arrow beside it. Click on this button.
Step 4. When you do this, the settings page will lengthen and you will see more options regarding your browser settings.
Step 5. Scroll down to find the “Content Settings” option in this section.
Step 6. Click on this button to be redirected to a new page. Here, at the top of the page, you will see “Cookies”. Select the button to change your cookie settings
Step 7. In the new section, if you have not allowed Chrome to save Cookies, you will see that cookies have been “blocked.” To undo this, shift the button to the right.
Step 8. You will see that the “Blocked” status has changed to “Allow sites to save and read cookie data”.
Your changes to the browser settings are automatically saved. Close the “Settings” page and continue browsing. You have successfully enabled Cookies on Chrome on Mac.
