How to Delete Reddit Account

Using Web browser:

Step 1. On your browser type https://www.reddit.com and login with your email id and password. You will be directed to a home page of Reddit. On the top left corner on the page where your name appears, you can see small down arrow icon.

Step 2. A dropdown opens up. Here click “User Settings”.

Step 3. The user settings page opens up. Make sure you are on a Accounts tab.

Step 4. Scroll down the page and the last option you would see is of deactivating the account. Click on “Deactivate Account”

Step 5. A pop-up will open up which will prompt you to enter your username and password, without which the “Deactivate” button will not be active.

Step 6. Once you have entered the username and password. Check the box which mentions that once deleted, the account can never be recovered, and only then the “Deactivate” button gets active.

Step 7. Now click on Deactivate and your reddit account gets deleted.
