Step 1.  Unlock your iPhone and go to your homepage. Look for the ‘Settings’ application. It is the app with the grey icon.

Step 2Click on it to open the ‘Settings’ page. At the top of page, you will see your Apple ID. Click on this ID to access your iCloud storage settings.

Step 3.  This will take you to a new screen where you can make changes to your iCloud storage settings. Click on ‘iCloud’ in the second segment of the page.

Step 4.  On the new screen which opens, select the ‘Manage Storage’ option. It will be the first option on the page.

Step 5.  Your phone will take a few seconds to open this section. Wait for a moment for it to open.

Step 6.  The new screen will tell you all the applications with use iCloud Storage as well as the space they are taking up.

Step 7.  Scroll through the application list to look for the ‘data’ app. Click on it.

Step 8.  A new page will open wherein you have the option to ‘Delete Data’. Click on it.

Step 9.  You will be asked to confirm that you want to delete this information. Click on ‘Delete’.

Step 10.  Now, go to the previous page which mentions all the applications which store data on iCloud. Here, search for ‘iCloud Drive’. Data and documents in the iPhone are stored in the Drive. It is this application you will have to clear up to delete other data and documents. Click on this button.

Step 11. On the new page which appears, you will find the option to ‘Delete Documents & Data’.

Step 12. Before you chose to delete your files, you can also view which files you will delete. iCloud stores data and documents from your Mac as well as your ph1. Click on ‘Documents’ to view the files on your phone and ‘Desktop’ to see the ones on your Mac desktop.

Step 13.  The new window will show your document list.

Step 14. If you are sure you want to delete all these documents, go back to the previous page and click on ‘Delete Documents & Data’.

Step 15.  Once you do this, you will be asked to confirm your choice. Click on ‘Delete’.

Step 16. Congratulations! Data and Documents have now been deleted from your iPhone.
