How to Change the Name of Your Wi-Fi Network
Follow the below-mentioned steps to change Name of your Wi-Fi Network:
Step 1. First of all, Type network setting in the search bar and select “Network Status”
Step 2. After that, bring your cursor towards the “Change Your Network Settings” heading and then hit to the “Change adapter option” from it.
Step 3. This will open all your “Network Connections” window on your screen. You need to click on the “WIFI” option to reset Name of your Wi-Fi Network.
Step 4. After this, the General settings will open in your screen.
Step 5. Select the “Details” button appearing below on the Signal Quality option.
Step 6. On the Network Connection Details Dialog Box, you need to review to the address right to the “IPv4 Default Gateway”. This address number you’ll need to enter in your web browser to access your router page.
Step 7. Enter your router’s address in the web browser. The address number will usually resemble by like 192.168.1.1
Step 8. Enter the password for your router. If you set a specific password for settings page when you installed the router, you will need to enter it to continue.
Step 9. This will open your router details window. Now, click on “SSID” tab appears in the Wireless Setup, and then change Name of Wi-Fi Network of your choice (here we’ve changed our from MULTINET to Multi )and click “Save”.
Step 10. Come back to the “Network Connection” page, and you will found that the name of Wi-Fi network has been changed.
