Here are the simple steps for outlook archive settings:

Step 1. First, launch your Outlook app.

Step 2. Then click on File option found at the top left corner.

Step 3. Afterward, tap on the Options tab. Check the image below:

Step 4. From the Outlook Options dialogue box, select the Advanced option found at the left column. Check the image below:

Step 5. From there you have click on the “Auto Archive Settings” button. As shown in the image below:

Step 6. Now check the Run “Auto archive every” box as shown in the image below. It will enable all the below-given options which will help to create outlook archive.

Step 7. Now you can change the Archive’s frequency, fix how old items have to be before being archived, and choose the location where you want to save the archived items through browse button.

Note: There are many options available in this dialogue box, you can choose options as per your requirements.

Step 8. Lastly, click the Ok button to save the changes. Check the image below:

Step 9. Now outlook will save your emails in another Outlook data file (.pst) that can be opened whenever you want.
