What is Windows God Mode
The so-called “God Mode” folder provides links to a variety of administration and settings tools in Windows. In other words, in essence, God Mode in Windows gives us access to the configuration of the operating system’s control panel from a folder. The real name for God Mode in Windows is the shortcut to the Windows Master Control Panel.
Enabling God Mode in Windows 10 is much easier than it seems and although we are going to explain how to do it, the truth is that it is much more useful for advanced Windows users; as well as the most advanced Windows enthusiasts. Most users will not see used to have God Mode enabled in Windows 10, and in fact, it will be like having developer settings enabled on your smartphone. However, if you want to try it, here is how to enter God mode in Windows 10.
How to Activate Windows 10’s God Mode
With only a few simple steps, you will activate Windows 10’s God Mode. Here’s how:
Step 1. First, right-click anywhere on the Windows 10 desktop.
Step 2. In the pop-up menu, take the cursor on the New option. As you can view in the below image:
Step 3. From the further options, click on the Folder option. Check in the image below:
Step 4. Then name this folder with the following name: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}. Note: You have to enter the whole name with periods and curly brackets. As shown in the below image:
Additional info: You can also switch “GodMode” with any other name you want such as CatMode but not the further codes.
Step 5. Now just hit enter key to enable Windows 10’s God Mode. You will notice a new icon is created on the screen. As seen in the below image:
Step 6. It means you have successfully created the God Mode folder that contains a plethora of commands and settings for quick use.
As you have verified activating the God mode is one of the easiest things in the world, but be careful and do not take this folder lightly since there are many commands, tools and options that it has (in fact all our computer) and depending on what you touch or modify is likely that later you can no longer repair it or you do not know how to go back.
